Class Projects

Smart 911 Awareness

Educated the community about Smart 911 by distributing information at local events, through the fire department, in utility billing statements, and to area newcomers.

CodeRED

Helped community members register for CodeRED, the Jefferson County emergency alert notification system.

Interpretative Signs

Interpretative signs with environmental and geographic information were placed at Evergreen Lake. Once the new Visitor Center is built, an additional sign will be installed at Staunton State Park.
